Lightning Experience Honors Target Values for Hyperlinks in Formula Fields

Can any One help me understand this update.

And Please help me reproduce the update

Hi Anil,
This update  is for hyperlinks in formula field.If a formula field contains hyperlinks,the target attribute in the hyperlink is used to specify where to open the link like _blank - Opens in a new window. Earlier in  Lightning experience hyperlinks doesn't respect target attribute.Even the target is set to _blank ,it used to open in same browser tab. Now after this update the hyperlink respects the target attribute in hyperlinks.
