Unable to create Domain in Production

i am trying to create a new domain in production, When i try to create it i get this error.
Error: Salesforce.com can't validate the domain. The CNAME record may still be processing (which can take up to 24 hours), or the domain may not belong to you. Make sure the domain name ******** uses Domanin Name.Org ID.live.siteforce.com as its CNAME target and try again later.
Anyone had seen this error or knwo why it is happening

Hi Charlie,

I would like to inform you that propagating a domain name might take 24 to 48 hours.

And, new domains for Force.com Sites require that the CNAME uses your domain name plus live.siteforce.com on your DNS server.

For example, www.mycompany.com must point to
www.mycompany.com.live.siteforce.com.
You don’t need to change the DNS name on currently active domains, but if you modify the name in any way, you must use the new live.siteforce.com standard.
