CPQ Certificate renewal

Hi there,

On the 4th of March all of my customers got an email that their CPQIntegrationUserCert is expiring on their Sandboxes.

None of the instances should even have this certificate installed. We never added it, and have no idea how this happened - what is more, all of them seem to have the same expiration date, on the same day.

Can someone please help me understand how could this have happened?

Hi Karolina,

You can delete the certificate from Setup>Security Controls>Certificate & Key Management. If you had CPQ at some point in the past and uninstalled it the certificate is there and is not of any use. That being said - feel free to delete the cert, it is only for the IntegrationUser and those users are doing absolutely nothing.

You can also find more information on the Expiring Certs in general here:

Kindly let me know if it helps you and close your query by marking it as solved so that it can help others in the future. It will help to keep this community clean.

Regards,
Salesforce Support.

Hi Abishek,

Thank you so much for your reply. What if we never had CPQ in the past? how would the certificate just appear on our instances?

karolina you can delete the certificate which is going to expire.

Please delete it only you have confirmation that it is not using anywhere.
