Hi James,

I have checked internally and you are right, we can't make the changes.

Thanks!

Hi James,

You can build your custom home page in Lightning using the Lightning App builder.

Go to Setup > Lightning App builder > Create a custom home page and then drag and drop the components that you want on the home page.

I have explained some of this in my blog post below.

https://force-base.com/2016/12/27/how-to-install-and-use-a-custom-lightning-component-from-appexchange/

I hope you find the above solution helpful. If it does, please mark as Best Answer to help others too.

Thanks!

Hi Abhishek,
Thanks for your reply, your solution works for normal home pages where I can add components, but I am talking about is the home page components in the setup area which is useful mostly for admin purposes only.
From my screenshot I need to remove those images.

Thanks,
JG

Hi Abhishek,
Thanks for the help, but it still does'nt work.
The link is all about the end users perspective to customize the home page, I am looking for an admin's setup area.

Anyway it's not a big issue, looks like Salesforce does not provide a way to customize the setup area for admin users.

Thanks,
James George
