Total batches are getting reduced

Total number of batches are getting reduced. Without any error out of 3300 batches 152 have got processed. Now all of a sudden total number of batches is getting reduced.

Greetings!

Can you please try to capture the debug logs to see the code execution and the number of that are returned by the SOQL query to see,if they are getting updated as expected.

So,I would suggest you to enable the debug for finer on Apex to see the detailed execution during the job execution.
