Sorry for this issue you are facing.

May I request you please give a try by checking the same in a new trailhead playground and tell us if you are able to see the same?

Likely this should be a playground issue. I would suggest you please try a different one which should probably do the trick for you.

I tried it into another playground , facing same Bug.

If i am correct .. if there is no syntax validation salesforce will simply the same message .. if you have error then it will display in the message
