Chatter not working in lightning

I moved to Lightning and created a new home page that includes both Chatter Publisher and Chatter Feed. When I post anything in Chatter Publisher, it disappears and I see nothing in either Publisher of Feed. Is there some setting that needs to be changed? Used to work in Classic.

  1. page layout assignment 
  2. Lightnign Page assignements 
  3. Setup>>​Chatter Settings --> Enable actions in Publisher .

Check the page layout for the Chatter feed and chatter publisher and change setting in  the page layout.
See If it appears or not.

Sorry for the delay in answering. I missed it in my email. Are you talking about the Home page layout in the Lightning App Builder? I don't see any settings. All I can do is drag it onto the page. It is visible on the page. Just nothing shows when I send.
