Dependent picklist value does not prepopulate using Dependent Picklist flow lightning component

When passing values into the dependentPicklists lightning component in flow, the controlling value populates but the dependent one does not. Both values are populated on the source record.

Hi Gherardo - It's been more than 9 months and I assume your issue is resolved. For someone looking for same issue - make the dependent picklist field required and it worked for me.
