Issue rendering page block section item help text in LEX

Anyone have an issue of rendering page block section item help text in LEX (apex:pageBlockSectionItem helpText="blah blah blah").  As soon as LEX is enabled the bubble disappears.  Styling with lightningStylesheets is of no help
