I have system administartor profile in the Salesforce Org.
when i compose a new email, and click on the Lightning for outlook addin i get the following error

User-added image

I can log read emails successfully. However the permission errror is only when composing new emails.

In his user record under the 'Permission Set License Assignments' check whether he has a Inbox licence assigned to it.

OR

From Setup, enter Email to Salesforce in the Quick Find box, then select Email to Salesforce.
Click Edit.
Select Active.
Click Save
