eclipse does not show error but won't connect to sandbox
After entering credentials and security token for force.com IDE, eclipse doesn't go to the next screen or connect to sandbox. Has anyone experienced this before? I tried selecting other in the dropdown to specify the end point. Still same behavior. Please help, I have been stuck with this error for a day now.

Need to check which version of ecclipse you are using . I faced problem when I used Eclipse Jee 2018-09 - 32 bit . But with Neon I was able to add Force.com IDE sucessfully and to connect to SalesForce Org correctly. Please follow instructions for using FORCE.COM IDE from help page Also please check the 32 bit/64 bit info for m/c os and same for jdk installed .Ensure all should be similar.
