We are trying to create an automatic task in the Opportunities object, in order to achieve this we are thinking of different options as below, Please suggest whioch one is the better option.
1. Using process builder and Flow
2. Action plan App from App exchange free from SF
3. Done App from App Exchange $9/month
As per my suggestion is Using Process Builder.
For Example of create an automatic task in the Opportunities object
You might have to have 2 Process, first one, starting Object = Opportunity, when it is created
- Condition - Stage = Lead
- Action - Create Record - Select Task, and make sure you have the highlighted fields filled in as such:
Then your second process would be:
- Object = Opportunity, when it is created or edited
- For each stage you will have a criteria and your actions would be Create Task, with again the highlighted fields are filled like above.
Activate both Processes
