Lightning Component in a VF Page

Hi All,

I have created a Lightning Component and Created Lightning application using that Component and Calling them in VF Page everything works fine. I just show the message to the Customer once after they submit the application and exit. I tried with Show Toast but it's not working. Please let me know your thoghts.Thanks in advance

From which event you are calling toast event? have you tried with the alert('') to check the same? 

sample code would be better to suggest more.
