Is it possible to embed a vf page into a global action (log a call)?

As per my understanding,  You can invoke vf page from global actions but not from log a call.

Is it because it is based on task object?
Can I use a lwc component instead. Or will I have to duplicate the log a call functionality entirely using an lwc or vf to get the requirement? 

Is that a feasible solution..

You would need to build in customize functionality and you cannot embed even LWC component.
