Is it possible to increase the custom metadata storage limit?

We have reached the custom metadata storage limit, is it possible to ask salesforce to increase this limit or is it a hard limit?

Hi Carlos,

It may not be possible to increase this limit as this is a hard-coded value.

Please see below options to refactor which might be useful for this scenario:

1. Remove unnecessary/unused custom metadata types.
2. If possible, move some of the custom metadata types to custom settings
3. The limit of 10 million characters is per namespace. Please refer to the below document for further understanding:
