Ben B Community: Can you authenticate a potential cummunities user based on a certain domain from their email?
Ben - Authenticated users are represented inside your Salesforce production environment as both a Contact record and a User record which are linked & form one portal user. Therefore, I do not believe that you can use an email domain to authenticate alone. You would need to create the Contact record first, then provision the User record before someone could be authenticated to your community.
