unable to edit created opportunity

Hi

I've created an opportunity but unable to edit it and get the below error:

Insufficient Privileges
You do not have the level of access necessary to perform the operation you requested. Please contact the owner of the record or your administrator if access is necessary. For more information, see Insufficient Privileges Errors. 


unsure what went wrong with the authorization security etc....any input to fix this please?

The standard page was overriden with a VF page and hence the issue , it is sorted now

You might not have the access to edit the record, The acess generally would be Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All, Modify All. You might be having Create access but no Edit access. Please check with your system admin to give you necessary permissions
