Cannot get the dropdown box to appear for a custom object in Lightning View. Can anybody help out of ideas

See the picture below I want the dropdown for Revenue Projections to appear and i can't figure out how to make it happen.  Really new to the lightning experience can you tell :)

There are a couple of reasons this may not be working:
  • There are no related list buttons on your page layout
  • You do not have proper object permissions on your profile

Wah Lah there was a custom button but the standard button was not active.  Activating the standard button did the trick.  Thanks,
