Both are right.

Latest release can always be found here. Keep in mind some of the developer tools are behind. When they connect using the API they may be on 33, 34 so it is a good idea to check.

Comming here from asking Google... ;-)

* http://www.salesforce.com/customer-resources/releases --> 404 Oops, the page you're trying to view isn't here.
* https://developer.salesforce.com/releases/release/ --> Published By Zayne Turner June 5, 2017.....

So: where can I find the current version - I now somewhere the year will be in it - but I need to know whether e.g. "Winter 19" has already been rolled out to production (or sandbox) instances, or whether this will happen in half a year...

Also it would be helpful to see the list - when did something change....

E.g. something like this:
https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=mc_co_latest_releases.htm&type=5
BUT
* for Salescloud, Servicecloud ...
* updated continuously (in June 19 the last entry is from Oct. 20, 2018... seems a bit old...

On the Salesforce Home page you can see in the upper right corner a "Discover"{!Release} button - but this does not tell you:
- is this release already live?
- when had it been deployed
- the history before this....
