About Price books

Hi guys,

I am trying to create a  price book to be used by the sales team.

I am able to create the price book, but I can't find a way to associate it with the opportunities. In other words, the price book is there, but how do I make the opportunities select information from it?

Is the price book active?  From the help:

"Price books can be active or inactive. Products in inactive price books cannot be added to opportunities"

Is your organization a multi-currency organization?

Thanks for answering my question.

I figured out how to link them, so I figured I would post it here in case someone else ever needs to do this:

The opportunities are not linked to price books upon creation. Instead, you have to go into the opportunity info page after it has been created. One of the information sections on the bottom will be "Products". You will see a button there to choose price book.

I really think they should give you the option to select a price book during the "New Opportunity" process.
