Error 1222: Failure inserting - storage limit exceeded

Error 1222: Failure inserting - storage limit exceeded

I got this message inserting a lead even though there are only 2 leads in my workspace! While developing/testing I have been inserting and deleting this same lead repeatedly, could this be the problem? Or perhaps a development edition limitation?

Monkee,
If you have been inserting and deleting leads the perhaps the Recycle Bin needs to be emptied?

The problem here is that you have exceeded your file storage by using 1.1GB out of a limit of 1.0Gb. If either DATA or FILES limit is exceeded you will get this error message and be unable to insert records - we see this a lot when testing CRM content in developer sandboxes.
You can increase your salesforce storage limit. To overcome this limit we can go for a native app - Cloud Drop (http://www.clouddrop.io).
