Report to show only the latest case comment?

Is it possible to show only the most recent comment to a case on a report? Ideally I'd like to display standard case fields, then show the latest comment made to it. Thanks in advance.

I'd like to resurrect this post as I have been tasked with adjusting our Open Issues Report to show only the last case comment (instead of all of them).  Any ideas?

I am now trying to do the same thing. The email templates easily allow you to generate reports with the latest "public" comment (which would be good enough in my case) but I cannot see how to do this in the reporter. Does anyone have a suggestion?
