Can Java work with Outlook, Word or Excel?

Hi,

I am still choosing the development tool for my customerization of sforce. However, I am wondering can I program Java to work with Outlook, Word, Excel?

Alas, no. If you want to work with Office, your best (if not only) option is VBA.

There is sample code of extending sforce & Excel in VBA at our open source site, sforce.sf.net.
