Timezone a Contact is in.

I need to know what Timezone all of my Contacts are in for when my reps call them.  Is there any code that can take the area code from the phone number or the zipcode from the address and then process it and push back what Timezone the Contact is onto the page in a field I create?

Zip code is a reasonable proxy. Notice that the lower-numbered codes are Eastern, and '9xxxx' is the Pacific. There are too many telephone area codes to make this practical.

(I'm assuming that you're trying to solve this problem just for Contacts in the United States.)

I agree that you probably want to start with ZIP code (perhaps the first 3 digits) instead of telephone area code. With number portability, you can't be sure any more that someone with a 212 area code, say, is actually in Manhattan.
