jimjamz Customize Application Permission - Can we disable certain rights of it?
I'm wondering if we are able to disable certain rights within 'customize application'
Does anybody know if this is possible?
By this i mean.. perhaps we want them to be able to edit fields but not delete them..
or Not allow the other users who has a profile to be able to set 'field level security'
or NOT allow them to create any workflows?

MKPartners.comThe customize application permission is currently an all or nothing permission. It's a great feature request though and would go hand in hand with delegated admins.
WELLS TECThis is possible for all standard fields with in salesforce.com. Most definitely keep your eye out for this one to be out on the 07 release. In the 07 release you will be able to add all the security on a custom object with in your org as you would be able to with say accounts and contacts.:smileywink:
