tlong problem with web-to lead form duplicating leads
We are using a web to lead form, but it does not check to see whether the lead is already in salesforce. It just creates a new lead which is cluttering our database and confusing our salesreps.
Is there a way to have the web-to-lead form check based on an id key such as email address to see if it exists? If it does it would update the contact and flag it for the salesreps. If it did not exists then the reuglar process of creating a new lead would continue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
