Sales Profile in Enterprise and Developer edition

Hi,

I had a developer edition account, which used to come by default with a 'Custom Sales Profile'. I used to make changes to this profile and assign Sales Rep users to this profile.

Now we have an enterprise edition account, but this does not have a Custom Sales Profile. Am I supposed to create new profile and sales layouts from scratch and make assignments, or is there any other way to get this done easily as in a developer edition account?

Any inputs will be greatly helpful.
Thanks,
VSP.

The DE account comes "templated" to common use cases.  EE does not.  You will need to set this up the way you want to use it.

Thanks Dave.

I cloned the Standard User and created a Sales Profile. I have not created any specific Sales Layouts such as Account (Sales) Layout, Contact (Sales) Layout, etc which are available in Developer Edition.

Is this fine, or is there some other preferred way of creating a typical Sales Profile? Do let me know.

Thanks,

VSP.

Yeah, this is admin and I no admin expert.  Post this to the CRM Success boards and someone is bound to give you the low down.

Cheers.
