Case Creation Notification Based on Record Type

Hi there,

I have a question regarding case creation notification: I have several record types when I create a case inside SF (using the screen, not web-to-case or email-to-case). As the case is created, is it possible to send a different email that is based on the email template specific to its record type?

I don't think there is a way to have multiple case creation notifications.  You can use workflow to create different emails based on the record type of the case. This is a little more work but it should be able to perform like you want.

I thought of that. But I would like the email to be sent to the contact/customer, which I don't think I can do with the workflow.
