Total Dollars for closed won opportunities

How would I go about creating a custom field on the Accounts page that would list the total dollar value of all closed won opportunities for each specific account?  I am looking for a way to track total sales per account.  Thanks!

In the customize section for accounts, create a new field of type "Roll-Up Summary"

There you can specify the type of calculation to perform (sum) and criteria for which records should be included in the calculation.
