Print Anything problems with IE7

I have severall users who against my will have upgraded to IE7, this has now caused problems with loading the printanything template.

The template works fine in IE6.

For the IE 7 users i have checked the sun Java console and ensured they are on the current version of Java, yet still i cannot get the template to load, it just provides a blank screen.

Has anyone experienced this? if so how did you fix it?

Thanks in advance.

the printanything app just uses html markup for templates, so i suspect there is a html incompat in this particular template.

does it fail for a trivial template ? , like

<H1>i'll be at Dreamforce </H1>

if so, you'll have to post your template or debug it by commenting out large blocks.

how about pasting the template directly into a file, then open in IE7 ?

next you can try turning on debug mode for printanything app.

Thanks Ron,

I have started the steps you suggest and am looking to find a solution. As soon as i learn more i will post it here for the benefit of others.

Hi Ron,

1) you are right, it works for a trivial template.

2) I have pasted the code into a notepad file and saved with the HTM extension. This also opens perfectly within IE7. Yet still when the print anything link is clicked it just does not work.

I will try the debug mode on the users machine.
