Promote configuration from one environment to another

Folks –

 

Is there a utility that would allow promoting configuration of custom objects from one environment to another (from Sandbox A to Sandbox B or from sandbox A to production)? We are in process of creating several custom objects and such utility would save us a great deal of time.

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Click on Setup | Exchange | Shared Apps, and create a new package. Add your custom objects/fields to the package, then upload and register it on the appExchange. Then, install it in any other organization that you need. Note that "registering" does not make it publically accessible (as in listed on the main directory); you must have the direct link to "Get It Now" to install these "private apps".
