Approval Process

Hi ,

Can you please provide me the information about how the approval process work and how It is different from workflows.

Hi Mohit,

The best source for this is the online help in the application.

You can define approval process steps (first submission for approval, subsequent submissions, next approver, approval, rejection etc.).  When you define a step, you specify what you would like to happen very similar to a workflow step.  This can be updating fields, locking records, sending emails and combinatins of these.

To understand this better, start with a very simply approval and add complexity as you become familiar with it.
