SSO - Can an Org have both, SAML and Delegated Authentication enabled?

SAML for Web Access and Delegated Authentication for API (Web Service - desktop client) access.

Thanks.

Heard from Salesforce support that only one(SAML or Delegated Auth) can be enabled.

It is my understanding that you can have SAML and Delegated Auth working at the same time.

Just to clarify the question, you mean SAML for your normal SFDC security for the normal users and then you also need delegated authentication for public facing SFDC sites?  Or for internal API integrations with other private systems?

Correct me if I am wrong, but:

1) Sites does this automatically

2) API integrations should be set to not allow GUI access in their role or profile wherever that option is.  This does not effect other users.

Yes, you can have both SAML and DA enabled for an org. SAML has an endpoint URL which is different from the URI used for login API.
