How do I enable  multi-currency support for my developer account?

Log  a case to Salesforce they will enable it for you .

      I am new to Salesforce. I want to evaluate Multi Currency for my company.

 

      How to contact salesforce.com?

 

      How to log a case as a customer support?

Login to you r org | click the HELP link at the top right | a new window will popup

 

On this new window locate a tab as my cases and just log a case

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:

from within function "User::addToDatabase". MySQL returned error "1062: Duplicate entry 'Hitesh Patel (Hitesh Patel)' for key 'user_name' (localhost)".

Hi Atif,

No. Multi Currency feature is enabled for your organisation for free only. Simply go to Help and log a case to get this multi currency enabled to your organisation.

Be prepared to answer these four questions when you are suppose to log a case.

1. What is Organization ID of the production or sandbox instance needing this feature? (Navigate to Setup > Company Profile > Company Information):

2. What is the default currency stamp on existing and future records (i.e. USD, EUR, GBP):

3. Do you understand that once multi currency is activated, it CAN'T be deactivated? (we encourage testing this first in a trial/DEV org or a sandbox):

4. Are you the system administrator authorized on behalf of this organization to request this feature and that you consent to the lockout of this org for a certain period of time as described below?

I get a permissions error, and even when I login via my developer edition account, it still gives me the error.  Any ideas?

Yes, I'm also getting same error. Not sure how to open ticket for Developer Edition. I have done this in past but not sure how. Probably I would have to use a dial in number.
