Triggers in enterprise edition of salesforce?
Hello all,
When can we expect to see triggers in the enterprise edition of salesforce?
Why would the developer edition of salesforce have them and not the enterprise edition? Wouldn't the purpose of having triggers in the developer edition be to develop apps that could later on be moved to an enterprise or some other edition?
Thanks

You can execute Apex triggers and classes in Unlimited Edition organizations -- now that Apex is no longer in Developer Preview (during which it was only available in Developer Edition organizations), that is currently the only option for allowing live users to take advantage of Apex triggers/classes.
Our development organization is currently working on an Apex add-on package that Enterprise Edition organizations can purchase. It will allow EE organizations to deploy Apex triggers and classes, but I'm not sure when that add-on will be available.
Hope that answers your question,

If not, are there any plans?
When will they be available in Platform Enterprise Edition and the Platform Light Edition?
