Auto select second field.

Hello

Let I have crated a custom object Game.

In which I have added Revenue a Custom Fields & Relationships (picklist)

1.Team auction

2.Tickets

3.Parking

4.Sponsor

5.Advertisement

Now I want whenever user select any of the above option, The amount belong to that category should automatically reflect in the next field "Amount".

How will it be possible...Kindly help !!

Hi,

As far as my understanding, you need the amount field to be autopopulated based on the Revenue Picklist Field.Have you tried the dependent picklists functionality?

Hi,

Create two picklist fields - One for Revenue and other for Amount.

then go to Setup - > Create -> Object -> Custom Feilds -> Field Dependencies -> Select Revenue as the Controlling field and Amount as Dependent Field and map accordingly.
