members of the queue are not able to see records in the queue

Hi,
I just setup a new queue with appropriate assigned members. I submitted a record for approval to this queue but the assigned member is not able to see this record. I must have done something wrong. please advice.

Hi,

I have a custom object and set it to private because I don't want users be able to see each others' records.

However I did create a common queue for sharing the records. This queue is setup with appropriate permissions that allow users to see each others records but it's not working (ie: users still are not able to see records in this queue).

Are you assigning the approval to the queue or the actual record to the queue? Assigning approval does not grant visibility. A user would need visibility to the record first, then would be able to approve the record.
