I am beginning to hate salesforce....any one want to help me

I just want to do simple tasks, this program wants to you take an extra 100 steps to one thing.
 
I want to add the same  task to about 100 leads, that I have in an excel file, which I am about to import.
I dont want to go into all 100 leads and add the same task, I want to do it one time. 
any help?????

The data loader works well for that kind of thing if you have access, if you have access. You might be able to use the Apex Explorer too, I've never tried anything like that with the apex explorer though :)

Well, I think that would help us......but we have the professional version and apparently we dont have the pleasure of all these helpful add ons.

Does anyone know if we can purchase these tools?

I just to want to update numerous leads , with the same info at one time. 

example....create a task for all.

add the same event for all.....

i dotn want to have to add the same event 100 times for 100 leads....

HELP ME :(
