Moving Objects and Code from one org to another

At my company, we bought a 2nd Org. So now we have 2 seperate Orgs.

What options do we have if we want to copy all data, classes, triggers, custom objs, custom fields, etc from our old Org's Sandbox to our new Org's Sandbox?

I saw that in Eclipse you can deploy to the server, however it doesn't seem that this will move custom objs. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thank you,

Chris

Hi Chris,

The Force.com IDE can move all of the metadata (essentially all of your customization - custom objects, fields, code, pages, etc.). To move data, you can use Data Loader and/or Excel Connector. Both are free and available here

Hope that helps,

Sati

Hi Chris, would love to know how you did the migration/moving of the data from one org to another org since I am in the same situation, my company brought another company and I would need to move all the org data and code to my org.
