Error message? API Disabled for Org

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I thought I'd ask. I get this all the time when I'm entering a name into the contact field of Edit Task pages.

Any idea what causes this, or how to fix it?

Perhaps someone has overridden your Edit Task page or something?  You wouldn't normally find that type of error except in situations where someone is attempting to use the AJAX Toolkit to communicate with the API on the page.  Maybe an AppExchange app that you or someone in your org installed?

This happens every time I use these fields, and nobody else edits my tasks.  I'm not sure about AppExchange apps, though.  I'll look into that.  Thank you.
