Permission Error

Hi All,

 

I have created a custom profile for my partner protal, I have set the 'edit' (and convert) permission on Accounts, but when goto to convert a lead I get a Permission Required error saying I need "Edit Permission on Accounts" but I already have this? Is there somthing else I need to change/set.

 

Grateful for any help.

You need create as well:

 

Converting Leads

Available in: Group, Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

User Permissions Needed
To convert leads:“Create” and “Edit” on leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities

AND

“Convert Leads”

AND

“Read” on any related campaigns

Thanks for the reply, as far as I can see I have create. On my User Profile I have Create,Edit,Delete for all objects under "Standard Object Permissions" and I have "Convert Leads" in General User Permissions ticked also?

If you already have create on Account, I'm not sure what's wrong.

 

I'd recommend logging a ticket with support.
