Automatic Task Upon Lead Convert - Remove from Convert Page

When we convert a lead, the configuration requires that a task be created.  

 

How can I remove the task creation from the convert page completely ?

Actually, creating a task upon the lead convert is optional (see #7 in the help). The user does not have to populate those fields.

 

If you wanted to remove them though, you could create a Visualforce page and use Apex to do your ConvertLead.
