Remove Attach File button on Note & Attachment Related Link

For the Note & attchment Related Link, it possiblt to remove Attach File button?

Or have any idea or suggestion not let the user to attach the file?

I don't think it's possible. The "Notes & Attachments" related list is not customizable.  As a solution you can create a custom field "Notes" and add it to the record page layout. Hope it helps you!

I think Miguel is right.  We use Enzigma's FTP attach (Stores attachments on our own server instead of taking us SFDC disk space) and I had to remove the Notes&Attachment related list from all the layouts.  We just use the "log a call" button on Activities for any notes we want to enter...)

Until they let us customize in the ui, a workaround is this:
