Diable "Change" link next to Case Owner field

Hi

 

How can we disable the "Change" Link next to Case Owner field on the Case detailed page, we would not like the users to transfer the cases by clicking on "Change" link.

In my opinion, there is no way to remove the "Change" Link from the pagelayout. The only way to remove the link is to remove the ownerid field from the pagelayout.

Thank you for the response. Our issue here is when a user wants to transfer a case, he is getting an option of choosing either a user, a queue or a portal user, which we want to restrict.

 

Can you provide me with yout thoughts on this.
