How do I represent a return character in a report filter?

 

Is this even possible?  This is a 'dirty data' search/cleanup I am trying to perform and return characters, double spaces, etc. are causing issues.  Any ideas?

Have you tried \n for carriage return in the search filter?

As of the issue of cleaning dirty data , why don't you do that as you are saving the data, there is a substitute function which does the needful easily.

In case you need the code snippet I can share with you.
