Custom field on related list

Hi all,

Is there a way to put a custom field on related list of an child object. Basically I have got  a few id numbers listed on the related list and it doesn't mean anyting at a glance. So i was wondering if I can change one of the id number to a number, the related list will make more sense.

I was wondering if there is a way to do that?

Yes - edit the page layout of the parent object and navigate to the related list. Double-click on the related list or click on the wrench icon. You can then customize which fields show up and include your custom field. Details in the docs.

Hope that helps,

Sati

The name I want to display on in the available list actually. I knew how to put a few more fields but just wondering if there is a way to put a filed other than the ones that are being listed.

Looks i will have to carry acrossed the fileds that I want.

Thanks,
