Web to Lead email response, user-selected attachments

Hey Guys,

 

We would like to set up a web to lead form that has a set of information (documents) that a user can request to receive via email. On the form there is a set of checkboxes, and we want the email auto response to include the user-selected documents.

 

I saw a post asking this question way back in 2005, and the solution looked complicated. I was wondering if there is a better solution these days.

I believe you could make use of email templates for this behaviour.

 

 

Here you can give the field label and give a merge field.......... so in the email it display whether the user is selected or not

Hmm, Either I don't understand what you're suggesting, or I'm not sure this is what I'm looking for.

 

For Example I have a web to lead form with a set of checkboxes:

[  ] Technical Whitepaper

[  ] Business Use-Case

[  ] Customer Success Story

 

If the user selected checkboxes:

[  ] Technical Whitepaper

[X] Business Use-Case

[X] Customer Success Story

 

I want the email auto-response to send back a template email with two attached files: the business use case, and the customer success story.

 

Any Idea how to accomplish this?

How about workflow email alerts?  You can create one email alert per checkbox so it could fire off 1 or 5 emails to the same person based on what they checked on the W2L form.

 

You need enterprise edition for workflow.
