How to allow a profile to edit the Record Type

Silly question - what changes do we have to make to make a profile allowed to edit the Record TYpe?  Thanx!

Check Page layout as well whether it is not readonly from page layout.

Go to manage User -> Profile -> Open a profile -> Field-Level Security -> Select Your Object -> See Record Type -> Change Field Lebl security as Visible and UnCheck Read Only

Thanx.  I already had tried that, and the Record Type is NOT read-only and the Profile has the record types they are allowed to use.  But the "Change" link still doesn't show next to the RecordTYpe field when logged in as that profile.

Yeah, I thought that would be it.  I was hoping not to have to create an entire page layout just for 1 profile.  THanx!
