Storing signature images in Salesforce.com

My organisation wants to store our customer's signatures as images in Salesforce.com.

Is there anyone currently doing this?

I am interested in best practice and if there are any apps to assist with this.

Many thanks,

SydneyForce

Not sure if there are any apps on the AppExchange for this.

In past for clients I have stored Signatures Images as Attachments on a Contact, Opportunity, or Deal record.

Thanks Cory.

As I think my organisation will want to restrict who can upload/edit signature images, I may need something more complex than attachments.

I was thinking of adding a rich text field, then restricting write access to this field to certain users. This field could have the image of a signature pasted in it, which would also make it easily visible on a record's page.

You could also look at using Salesforce Content.

It has more security features around the Documents I believe.

Thanks Cory. I will explore Salesforce.com Content. The main issue will be linking what is uploaded to Salesforce.com Content with Contact records.
