Anybody have the final word on what binary types are indexed for Knowledge attachments? I tested Word docs and PDFs. Things seem to work for Word docs just fine, but not PDFs. According to this, both should work:

A definitive list of what's supported would be nice. The documentation is somewhat ambiguous:
"Text content in a File field attachment is searchable."

FYI, looks like Excel works, and so do PPT files.
And it seems PDFs work sometimes......the search for 'keywords' doesn't work, whereas 'Managed' does. Both words are selectable in the PDF doc. Strange and spotty behavior overall.

The inability to find that one article I have is a problem, though, so I logged a partner case for it. The PDF has the word I'm searching for in it multiple times, and I've confirmed the PDF treats it as text (selectable as text).
